New Teeth in One Day with All‑on‑FourDenture wearers are all too familiar with slipping, sliding dentures that interfere with their daily life. Smiling can become an embarrassment, menu choices are very limited, and speech can even become impaired.

Dr. Kuhn offers a solution for people with unstable dentures, or those who need to have damaged teeth extracted. With the revolutionary All-on-4 procedure, you can have a beautiful new set of temporary replacement teeth in a single day.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically inserted into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. It is covered with a high-quality restoration, such as a crown, bridge or full arch to give you an artificial tooth – or teeth – that look beautiful and function naturally.

New Teeth in One DayAdvantages of All-on-4

Only four implants per arch

The location of dental implants is as important as the number of implants. Dr. Kuhn can secure a full arch of teeth with just four implants using the All-on-4 technique. This technique takes advantage of available bone by placing the implant posts at strategic angles and locations that offer the most stability.

No need for bone grafts

Because the All-on-4 procedure uses angled posts in the back of the arch, longer posts can be used. This provides more surface area for the jawbone to fuse with, and can eliminate the need for bone grafting in patients who have suffered bone loss.

Preventing bone loss

The jawbone requires the stimulation of chewing to remain healthy and retain its mass and density. When teeth are missing, the jawbone starts to deteriorate. This loss of bone eventually causes collapse of the facial muscles around the jaw, resulting in excessive wrinkles around the mouth, drooping jowls, sagging skin and thinning lips. A person’s appearance can be aged many years as a result.

The All-on-4 procedure helps deter bone loss and facial collapse. Dental implants provide the stimulation needed to help prevent bone loss from occurring.

Missing teeth cause a gradual progression of bone loss until the face appears to collapse in on itself. Dental implants help prevent this from happening.
